First things first: the dresses I recently snapped up.

I just ordered this stunning cotton midaxi dress by Halogen.

The dress is constructed with luxurious French seams on the inside. The fabric is smooth and lightweight. It's a vibrant medium blue with a pale pinky-taupe leaf print.

I'm 5'4", and the hem falls about an inch above my ankle bone. (It's on super sale, so if you like it, don't wait!)

I also picked up this linen-blend shirtdress by Caslon in olive green. The fabric is casual and breezy.

The matching buttons and fabric belt keep the dress monochrome, so I can add a statement necklace without the look becoming cluttered.
