Midnight navy is the MVP of the color wheel.
It's as deep and versatile as black, but with a softer edge.
In this article, I present you my favorite hats and headscarves in this winning color.
They are all affordable, stylish, and suited for a contemporary look.

The blue satin trim that the hat came with is lovely but very busy. It also reads too vintage for me to wear on an everyday basis. I find a minimalist effect is more modern and wearable.
The swirl beret
Hat: Himesport (comes in many other colors too!)
I love a structured wool beret. This one has lovely Russian veiling that accentuates the swirl shape of the hat base.
It's so much easier to match a hat to your outfit when the trimming is the same color as the hat itself.
