1920s Cloche Hat Vibes

From Downton Abbey to The Great Gatsby, the cloche hat plays a starring role. This one is made of a comfortable cotton-spandex woven and features a sculptural matching floral applique. The short, face-framing brim is supported with flexible millinery wire. C'est tres mysterieux.

I've styled the cloche with my favorite new bauble: the Swarovski crystal Harmonia ring. It is simply a delight to the senses, and I find it has a calming effect on me during a long day. Oh, btw please tell my husband I want the matching necklace as a holiday gift.

I made the crystal necklace in the photos above with Czech glass beads from Michael's. You can find similar necklaces here, here, and here. To make the overall feel more modern, I'm wearing these magnetic rhinestone earrings studs to look like a second piercing.
