Tying headscarves is an art form.
Art is all about reinvention. It gives us a feeling of renewal.
Today's tutorial features an easy, artistic way to tie the many rectangular scarves in your (abundant) stash.
Watch the 30-second tutorial below. Then scroll to shop scarves and satin brooches similar to those in the video!
The headscarf
I recommend using extra-fine silk pins to keep the outer layer of the scarf style in place.
I made the scarf shown above many years back, when I ran a successful headwear shop on Etsy. (Working hard behind the scenes to reopen it!)
The scarf featured a silver metallic floral print on a solid black background. Since it's no longer available, I've searched the web to find you similar pieces. They are have the ideal dimensions for tying the Spiral Bun technique.
Let's go shopping!

The silk brooch
I finished the look with a satin flower. Shop similar brooches (and earrings!) below.
I hope you enjoyed these ideas! It's always a pleasure to create for headscarf gals.
